Goofy girl!!!

I was trying to take a picture of her wild hair and she just started modeling like crazy for me!!!

CHEESE!

KISS!!!

Selfies with Mom!

Slippers! I put mine on so she had to too!!!

Allergy Testing

And is all negative. I'm very surprised especially since the 5 days prior to testing she was coughing very bad all night long and her nose was a runny mess. She enjoyed several suckers and lots of Reese's pieces from the mean nurse who poked her!

So, now it is back to the ENT Dr. Not sure what he will say or suggest. I'm open and hoping that he'll say to see if she out grows this and won't need her adenoids taken out. Another surgery is scary and I don't want to put her through that but at the same time, she's had 6 ear infections since her tubes surgery a year ago yesterday. That can't continue for the rest of her life.

Paint! pt. 2

Want a tour??

Garage, this is the only wall like this, all the rest is paint.

Laundry room, there is a toilet to the right along with a closet and the color is not right in this picture. It's a very bright blue. It makes me happy!

Dining room, this room will have stencils all down the two full sides, I may end up doing it on the wall you see too, but that's a maybe...

Bathroom that is right next to the dining room.

Lillian's upstairs room. Yes, she's our favorite, she has two rooms ;) Just kidding, she's just too young to be clear downstairs yet. This room will also have a few giant flowers on the walls. Something to make it a bit girly but yet easy to paint over once it's an office.

Shower, toilet room, and to the right is....

a big closet!

Our bedroom. All the gray needs a second coat and the laundry room needs a second coat. Otherwise, the upstairs is done!

And before we go downstairs, here's a view of this side of the living room. I realized that I hadn't shown this side of the ceiling. The 4 posts in the middle, will not be there, those were there to help them get the wall done.

Stairs...

The far wall will be my gym! YES I'M EXCITED! TV will be in the blank spot on that wall. This will be log siding. I know, sounds goofy but it'll look cool!

Bar to the right. Let's face it, it's another kitchen... Game area on the left. Again, there will be the log siding where there is no brown. All the brown is done. The empty room in the far is the downstairs bathroom. I'm going to do the same color of blue as in the laundry room.

Just the other view of the kitchen/ bar and game area.

Lillian's room!! She loved it and started dancing around when we took the kids in to show them their rooms. She will have those giant flowers all over. Much more than her upstairs room.

Will's room. "I love it! It's green! It's just want I wanted Mom!" True story, that was his reaction. It's much darker than I would have liked. Dennis agreed with the colors I chose but he wanted darker for almost all of them. This one I wish I would have said no because it will be very dark.

AND... This is what happens when I go to bed before he does and Dad isn't home! He had to have had a sore neck after that!!

<3 little="" love="" man="" much="" my="" p="" so="">
Again, I am so floored at how much painting we got done! I was expecting to only get one coat of a few rooms done. If you EVER have to paint a house, RENT A PAINT SPRAYER!!! By noon on Saturday, we had all the primmer done and the first coat of the living room done. AMAZING! Thank you again to everyone who helped!!! Mom, Nikki, Tara, Dottie, Michelle, Angela, Matt, Emmi, and Burke! You guys are so amazing for helping and giving your time!

PAINT!!

Siberian Eyes is the front blue. This was a last minute decision... I REALLY wanted a teal color and as I was ordering the paint this one stuck out to me as a laundry room.

Sagebrush is the green and that will be Will's room.

Cotoneaster Foliage is the gray on the right. This will be our bedroom, bathroom, closet, Lillian's short term bedroom, a.k.a. the office, and the upstairs bathroom. I love gray. (Lillian's temp bed room will have those huge flower stencils that I will talk about with the next color too, to make it more girly for a year or so while she is in that bedroom.)

New June Bud is Lillian's room down stairs. My plan is to get some HUGE flower stencils and paint them in bright colors, pink, red and black.  Her reaction when I picked it out and showed her was so funny. She squealed and nodded her head so hard, I thought a paci was going to fall out!

Fleece is the top white color. That will be all the ceilings that will not be drop down.

Corkboard will be all of downstairs living room and bar area.

Redwood Forest is the red, that will be the upstairs living room, dining room, and kitchen. In the dining room, I'm going to do some more stenciling. I haven't found one that I have fallen in love with yet but it's not something that needs to be done this weekend so it can wait.

And since we were talking about paint....

These two goofballs! Got the paint out themselves and got naked by themselves while I was folding laundry in the bedroom. They needed a bath that night anyway so why not?!

I want to say thank you a head of time of all who plan to help paint this weekend. Truly, you have no idea how much I appreciate it! God willing, we get almost or completely done!!!

Sledding!

These are the pictures of the day before Dad came with us. It was a great time! Kids ended up wanting to play in the swing set and make snow angels!! It was quite a bit colder when we went with Dad so we didn't stay very long but the kids LOVED it. Going to St. Benedict is the go-to now when we go sledding. Only problem... I need to invest in one more sled. Kids don't believe in taking turns!

Before/After

8-10" later...

I feel soooo much better!!!

January resolution review/ Febuary goals!

January recap:

No junk: FAIL. Now as long as you don't count dark chocolate and ONLY one serving a day IF I had it, then I only messed up about 4 times this month. Not bad. I have learned that I am someone who if I eat 100%, I will do 100% for about a week and fall off for about 3 weeks of eating horrible! By horrible, I'm talking a bag of skittles after lunch and a bowl of ice cream before bed with the occasional handful of twizzlers and starting the day off with good ol' pop tarts. Yep, that's me for a solid 3 weeks once I fall off the waggon. This is why I do need to have a small amount of dark chocolate a day or at least something sweet.

No excess spending: Fail. Not bad but I have found that I really have 3 shirts I like in my closet. Sunday, Dennis was laughing at me as I was changing clothes 6 times for church. I swear I have nothing in my wardrobe that I like or that fits. So, Zulily got some of my $$ this month but not much. I just need to stop with the workout gear and buy nice clothes. I don't think compression pants are acceptable for Church. Oh and I had a thirty-one party.

15 minutes of cleaning a day: FAIL! Big time here. Some of you may not know this but I really do have three jobs right now. Working full time at the sheriff's office, doing personal training that equals about 8-10 hours a week and then I have started this very part time job at a motel. This will be anywhere from 0-30 hours a month. It's whenever I have a free Monday or Tuesday to work the desk. Right now, I'm helping paint it and get it looking more up to date as it looked like it was out of a 1960s drug movie. It wasn't much but 12 hours last month on top of working about 50 hours a week total at the other two things does add up. Excesses, excesses, I know but common, by the time I've done this, played with the kids and tried to make something healthy for supper, I'm ready for bed myself! Not counting the mandatory dishes and laundry cleaning (cleaning only, it's clean, piled up, in the bedroom on the floor) I hardly had time to add any extra. Now if you want to even it out, I had several days I was in the new house cleaning and picking up for several hours. But no, I'm not counting that!

Hug and kiss every day from my man... pretty close to making that goal but I'm sure there were a few days here and there that we missed. We go through several months a year of seeing each other for only minutes in the day that we are sadly used to going days without this small little note of affection.

February goals:

Drink at 4 shaker cups full of water a day: My big shaker cup (best invention of the entire world! I'm slightly addicted but seriously these things are the greatest, even if you just like cold tea (I put cinnimon in plain water so I drink more water)), is 20oz, so x4 is 80oz of water a day. Sounds like a lot but for someone of my size I should probably make sure I'm drinking more than that. I do drink 1-2 cups of coffee a day and usually a soda a day. Never more than one unless I'm having a drink at night but that's so rare any more that it's not even worth mentioning.
Go though closet: So this isn't an every day goal but I'm tired of going through my closet and finding NOTHING. I know everyone is like this but really, I have gained a lot of weight (not fat, I'm not body bashing!) since most of those clothes were purchased. Because of this, they just don't fit right, the arms are tight, the shoulders don't fit, or the jeans just don't fit, and almost 85% of them were hand-me-downs that I took out of desperation after having Lillian. I don't like them because they don't fit perfectly so it's time to pitch them.

Find all pieces to all toys: And put them in the new 31 cubes!!! We have Chuggington train set, Lego's, and more Lego's, Lillian has a tea set, there are puzzles, and connecting monkeys that we can only find a few pieces at a time. Will's itty bitty room is a collection for strays so that will be the best place to start looking!

Work on my quality time with the kids: Sometimes this may mean that we have PB&J for supper. I don't get much time with them because of how much I'm working right now. It won't be forever but for the time being, I miss my kids. So the short time I have with them each day needs to be play time, not necessarily making sure that they have clean, healthy meals... I ask myself, will they remember play time or the fact that I made sure they never had any processed foods?? I think we all know that answer!

I'm going to try to keep up with January's goals but focus on February. With a move coming up and starting to paint in the next few weeks on the new house, it will be hard to stay focused on things like 15 minutes of cleaning every day...
